Taiwan

Taiwan enjoys a consistently warm climate throughout the year, with noticeable changes during the spring and winter seasons compared to milder shifts in summer and fall. Its weather is ideal for travel, boasting an average annual temperature of around 22°C (72°F), with lows ranging between 12-17°C (54-63°F). Winter in Taiwan rarely brings snowy landscapes, except for select high-altitude regions where glimpses of snowflakes are possible. During the transition from spring to summer (March to May), lingering fronts may bring continuous drizzles. Travelers visiting during this period should carry an umbrella, as walking in the rain might seem romantic, but traveling with a soaked body isn't ideal. Taiwan's summer (June to August) occasionally encounters typhoons. Monitoring weather reports is advisable as typhoon days can bring turbulent waves along the coast, making it unsuitable for sightseeing. In Taiwan's autumn (September to November), visitors can revel in consistently clear and cool weather. The brief yet warm winter in Taiwan (December to February) is the season for enjoying maple foliage. The occasional cold front that arrives during this time is a favorite for hot spring enthusiasts.
